About Air India

Air India is the banner transporter airline of India, possessed by the Airline India Limited (AIL), which is Government undertaking. The airline was established in July 1930 as Tata Airlines and began working from October 15, 1932. It is the third biggest airline in India with its base camp at the Indian Airlines House, New Delhi and significant center points at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Indira Gandhi International Airport, from where it covers around 49 domestic destination, alongside 26 international destinations, including Kathmandu, Tokyo, London, Paris and Newark.
